Set in a town hall format, the start of the second meeting between candidate, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was awkward. No introductory handshake, simply “Hellos” and head nods from both nominees. One of the moderators, ABC’s, Ms. Martha Raddatz, explained the rules of the debate. After a shower of applauds, a quick camera tour of the panel, CNN’s, Mr. Anderson Cooper took the reign with the first question from the audience.
Hosted in Washington University in St.Louis, Missouri, the second presidential debate reached 3.2 millions viewers from Twitter’s live stream, a 30% increase from the first debate.
The third and final debate is scheduled on Wednesday, October 19 at 6 p.m.
