World Press Freedom Day

It’s the first time we write about World Press Freedom Day on jocondecommunications.com.

In spite of being in contact with journalists on a daily basis, we have yet to dedicate a post for this important date.

The third of May highlights and commemorates the work of journalists. For 30 years, conferences and seminars are held around the world to reflect on various issues media professionals face in the line of duty.

If planning conferences makes you do the cha-cha slide, this post might be of interest.

This year, Windhoek, Namibia is the city host of World Press Freedom Day. Virtual and in-person events are happening from April 29 – May 3.

What do you think of this year’s theme: Information as a public good?
